Not if we win out and win the SEC. Every major team can afford one loss and still make the playoff most likely.
Every can afford a loss, but not to a group of 5 team if they want to reach the playoffs.

the seats shouldn't be empty. Still a lot of great talent to watch. Everyone can't win them all, in 2007 we had a losing record in the SEC and still averaged sellouts.Win that Florida game and start and stay undefeated before Georgia and there’s still hope. Even then losing to Georgia there’s still a glimmer of hope they screw up and we finish 11-1 and go to atlanta.
Lose any game before that and then lose to Georgia and we are eliminated by week 5 or 6. It’s why every weekend it means something. But we have to beat florida. A loss there and watch the seats go empty
Cmon man. I think my statement is pretty clear that if you lose that one there’s a near 100% possibility you ain’t winning the rest and therefore don’t have the team to make it.Not if we win out and win the SEC. Every major team can afford one loss and still make the playoff most likely.
I get the premise, but in my preference, watching from home is always better unless the hype of being a team that has a chance is there or you’re undefeated and wanna keep it going.the seats shouldn't be empty. Still a lot of great talent to watch. Everyone can't win them all, in 2007 we had a losing record in the SEC and still averaged sellouts.
I’m still trying to figure out what makes one a “real fan”. Can someone not support their team and decide not to attend games after they’ve realized they have no shot at winning? Not if you are a real fan. And UK could lose to Florida on the road and still have a great season. Disappointing yes, end the season not for me.
Cue Jim Mora....Playoffs?Gotta be what Nebraska fans are thinking. The way college football is set up, Nebraska virtually killed any shot, unless a miracle happens, of them making the playoffs.
Literally 60 minutes into the season and all you have left are gonna be bitter fans and trolls.
that’s gotta suck if you’ve been looking forward to it all off-season.
Kinda what the Florida game is for UK. It really sets the tone. Lose that one and you realize the rest of the season is just meh.
I think it’s obvious now that Nebraskas season is over just like it was after game one lolCue Jim Mora....Playoffs?
And he went on to Ohio University and did a good job there. They went to several bowl gamesYep, that's him. Was a good coach, did well there too. Bet they wish they could do that well again.
As it turns out we couldn't have a better start to the season. Florida's jump in the standings was scary but probably turned out to be a great help in recruiting. Not if you are a real fan.
