On paper this matchup favors the Rebels

Based on the numbers...

  • I expect this UK team to lose Saturday

  • I don't know what to think about this game

  • Doesn't matter. What matters is how bad the OL has been blocking lately

  • Doesn't matter. What matters is how we play in Oxford.

Is this just one more game we can't hope to win?

Or

One more game where a Stoops team turns those numbers on their heads?

I just hope both teams have fun. But seriously, I don’t know what to expect. Both teams have pretty similar resumes so far. I’m hoping we turn the Grove into a Grove street party. Go cats.

Tulsa ran for 262 yards and 6.1 per carry against Ole Miss. Their base D is a 3-2-6: only 3DL and 2LBs but 4 safeties. If they stay base, CRod we get his 4, 5 or 6 yards a carry. If we force them out of their base D, Levi's will feed.

Apparently 2 of their three top RBs are injured to some degree.

UK has already played in a tough road environment and won.

UK hasn't even remotely played their best game.

There is a lot to suggest the CATS will win.

I think it's a good matchup for UK. They run the ball and we're good at stopping the run. On O, we should get anything we want.

I think we'll get a W at a West school finally. Tough game with good D (or lack of O) on both sides. But, KY will have just enough big plays on O to get it done.

I expect us to win and probably win by double digits. They have played no one. No fear, I have faith. We gonna run it down there throat and our defense is legit
You know Ole Miss brings my two biggest fears anytime in a hurry up offense and running QB, but I still have a good feeling about this one. I do thing our defense may struggle early but will adjust as the game goes on. I think it comes down to whether or not we can slow their run game down and make them one dimensional. If we run for more than they do we win, if not we lose IMO.

OM hasnt played anyone and neither have the Cats, hope they win but I can see a 31-28 game in either direction. Not sold on the running game issues being resolved just because Crod is back. Not sold on the cats run defense either, Florida averaged just under 5ypc.

As always it's going to come down to which lines (offensive and defensive) play the best. I'm confident in our D line, but we're going to need an entire game from the Oline similar to the 2nd half in the UF game.

Florida's offense isnt similar to Ole miss exactly but they are also a running team. 5ypc against a running team ain't bad. Especially when you factor in the one 70 yarder they had.

I think the big issue is if their tempo gets us out of position and back on our heels. If we handle that, I think they won't score enough to win.
This will be a big deal. We have to go in with a legit, sharp plan; everyone has to understand their role, and act quickly. All about preparation. Can’t be caught off guard too many times. And Will needs to make good decisions, and not try to place the ball into “barely there windows.” No turnovers and I think we can win by more than 3.

Defense will keep us in games like these. All comes down to the offense. Will our Oline win in the trenches? I don't think we have a clue how they will play game to game.

First Mississippi ain't played nobody. Take 10% off their numbers.

Kentucky played Florida in the swamp.
Ole Missy sip goes to the swamp I bet they don't win. I bet they don't win 27- 16. Going away.

Kentucky's players have won four bowl games in a row which means sophomores Juniors and seniors are all winners. Can't say the same for Miss Mississippi. Kentucky has more five stars and four stars.
Kentucky has a better quarterback.
Kentucky has the better running back.
Lucky Kentucky has the better receivers.
Kentucky has the better cornerbacks.

Now if the Mississippi 'rebel bears' win it's because of one thing: they at home. Same thing Florida thought.

So you tell me who you really thinks going to win that game....wait ill tell you:
Kentucky's players. 💯👁️👁️

Some of you need to change your soiled panties. I picked CATS over Florida and I am picking CATS over Ole Miss Bears

I didn't make this about winning or losing for a reason. I haven't and won't pick them to lose a single game this season. Has nothing to do with the post. I think we'll win just like I said we would against Florida. I posted this poll for a different reason

On paper Tulsa averaged 2.9 yards per carry against Northern Illinois but 6.1 per carry against Ole Miss. On paper, I LOVE that stat.
Ole Miss has been playing a 3-2-6 defense. Supposedly their 3 down linemen are undersized and they try to set the edge with cornerbacks. That is a recipe for a big rushing night . Did I mention that Crod is back ?

This game is even matched the only reason they are favored is because it’s in Oxford, the numbers aren’t factoring in rodriguez returning, if he gets going I really like Kentuckys chances
