Asked about if he’s looking forward to the first road game tomorrow and he said he guesses, it’ll be like any other road game he’s ever been in. Poor guy doesent have a clue yet lol
Exactly. Expect all 9000 of their fans to be loud and angry.Yep they don't quite get it. But they ain't been on the road as a Kentucky Wildcat ranked TOP 5 but they'll find out soon.
None of them been top five as far as I know it.
Well Amari opponents gun for you, opponents play harder against blue bloods, and beating Kentucky means something on your resume in March.
Expect the worst and play your best to overcome. If the worst don't come you win by 20+.
Its like playing orange lover' Tennessee but lighter version of color vomit. Orange but a little different. And Different is okay because Tennessee orange is God awful.Exactly. Expect all 9000 of their fans to be loud and angry.
Ole? 🐃Asked about if he’s looking forward to the first road game tomorrow and he said he guesses, it’ll be like any other road game he’s ever been in. Poor guy doesent have a clue yet lol
This is the way I see it...our experience card is trumped a bit this week in general. We will need to execute better than them to win, and do it in the face of a hostile crowd. I'm expecting a close game; hoping for a 2 possession win, would settle for a 1 pointerPope of all people knows all about how we are seen as huge targets for any road game, so I'm not worried that the road environment will somehow pull Clemson through because 1) Pope knows, and 2) Our players are experienced.
However...don't ignore the fact that Clemson's entire starting team are upper classmen/grad students. They aren't rookies.
I personally believe tomorrow will be a tougher, more anxiety-ridden battle than Saturday in Seattle. But we still win by double digits in the end because Clemson is short in the bench and will be worn out by the 10 minute mark of the 2nd half.
Focused targeted Stoicism ftwI think it’s more zen than naïveté.
Amari like our other guys will walk into that gym, feel the seething rabid eardrum bursting energy of that crowd, and shrug because of all the ways it’s just like every other road game he’s ever been in. Mark Pope has shown them the way.
Metabolize frustration.
Metabolize discouragement.
Metabolize the crowd.
Metabolize the refs.
The neuroscience is real.
No they aren't but when players like Amari play road games in small conferences those games are just as big to them in their minds like as far as how important they are to the players in that circumstance. Conference championships are a big deal no matter the conference. Even big games in high school can be nerve-wracking as far as the way the players feel about them. I don't think people think about that. The CAA and the SEC are not the same.
Amari may not get it yet.The CAA and the SEC are not the same.
Carr, Oweh, Garrison, Robinson and Kriisa are not mid-major guys. Carr has competed multiple times against some of the guys on this Clemson team. These are mid major guys man. They haven’t been the hunted. I can easily see them losing both games this week and then regrouping.

Yes, Robin Hood and Friar Ken” Tuck”y are both huge Cat fans. Will any Blue get in to Littlejohn Coliseum? Blue usually gets in.
I was speaking of the talent in the conferences. And they have played in games where the volume and/or intensity level was equally as high (@ Phog vs KU, @ UNC, @ Duke, or home games in Arizona).Carr, Oweh, Garrison, Robinson and Kriisa are not mid-major guys. Carr has competed multiple times against some of the guys on this Clemson team.
What's the over/under on number of times we hear a "Go Big Blue" chant through the broadcast?Asked about if he’s looking forward to the first road game tomorrow and he said he guesses, it’ll be like any other road game he’s ever been in. Poor guy doesent have a clue yet lol
Not as top 5, but Butler hit the game winning shot in the final 4 to go to the championship game.Yep they don't quite get it. But they ain't been on the road as a Kentucky Wildcat ranked TOP 5 but they'll find out soon.

Clemson orange is an orange you can sit withIts like playing orange lover' Tennessee but lighter version of color vomit. Orange but a little different. And Different is okay because Tennessee orange is God awful.
Clemson oranges is awful don't get me wrong but not God awful.
But I guess ....... I'd rather be a Tiger who plays with his The Little John gym than a Game cock lover who plays for dem cocks in Columbias hen house.
All things being equal.
😤😮💨
You got me thinking , the Texas orange looks more like burnt sienna to me .Clemson orange is an orange you can sit with
Give it up. Some are still in that mindset that if you didn't go to a top-end P5 school, then you must suck. Not as top 5, but Butler hit the game winning shot in the final 4 to go to the championship game.

I agree with this and you know Pope is going to make adjustments if necessary. I trust him and his staff over the previous regime.I find myself very calm regarding our team on the road for this one.
In the last few years I would have conceded our fr group would lock up plus get bullied.
Not getting that vibe.
