Hell, most of them are ready to write stoops a lifetime check over losing a toilet bowl to GT after the season nearly collapsed and losses to Southern Mississippi.

I'm a die hard Kentucky football fan, but I refuse to post on that board unless it's in season. I refuse to believe that's a representation of our fan base, and If it is, no wonder we are where we are.

I mentioned the "Yahtzee" thing in another thread on Rupp Rafters and all the UK football posters came over and tried to rip me a new one, the funny thing is I was making fun of KSR more than the fans, but after seeing this I still agree that the football program actually needs to win something other than a toilet bowl game to get me more excited. Beating UofL should be a must not a "successful season" in year 4!

Nothing wrong with enjoying a 7 win season here and there, but pretending that's some benchmark for stoops is ridiculous. He nearly fell on his face in year 4, barely managing to salvage the season in some way, and all of a sudden he's king of football. Not even close. That board is a cesspool of excuses and mediocrity. Looking for a anything to hold on to.

It was worse during joker. Half of them wanted him retained for a 3rd year.

Pitiful. Hope that kind of mentality never drifts to basketball.

I am 1000% With you. Stay away from there especially Jauk, i said i love UK football but i got tired of hearing how everybody says we are going 10-2 And competing for the East. Long story short i said i feel like this year will be tougher because we play teams at home that we never beat in 30 ish years in UF, and only beat once in like 30 years in UT, and we are not beating Ole miss, and definitely not #4 UGA at their place. Also last year we Barely beat Miss St, Vandy, and Scar at our place, THIS year its at their place.

Bottom line i said in MY opinion, we win 4 with a chance to beat #10 UL to make it 5. IF WE WIN MORE IL CRY TEARS OF JOY! Im NOT rooting against us, i just think we have an ufortunate schedule.

Well that absolutely peed off jauk and after he he called me names, somehow i got put in time out smh.

It wont nor should it! UK is elite program in basketball. Football not so much. When you haven't gone to a bowl in years, it is something to get excited about. The recruiting is also picking up. Now if we start having 8-9 win seasons regulary. bet Fla, Tenn, & occasionally LSU and Alabama, hell yes, build a statue of Stoops, name a street after him. Mark Stoops Stadium, go for it!

Are you new here? Did you see what Stoops inherited from Joker? This isn't basketball where 2 recruits can turn your program around the first year. Building right takes time. let's see if he can get us to the next level
