OL Coach needs to go

I'm trying to remember and correct me if i'm wrong. Was'nt he not retained by South Carolina and was on the unemployment line the first time we hired him ?
Then he proved what type of person he is when in the middle of a recruiting trip for us he changed horses in mid stream and went to Alabama ?
He was not retained by them and for some reason Stoops rehired him.
We have some young O lineman with some potential. I hope they stick around.
I just don't see how he can be trusted. He did not even say bye to the kids he coached when he jumped to Bama.
This one is on Stoops in my opinion. He can't come close to measuring up to John Schlarmin as a coach or a person.

Your exactly correct on all accounts. Bama has had problems with their Oline since the day he arrived and has been a problem this year also. There's talk DeBoer had to bring in all the older Olinemen that Wolford coached to Uncoach the techniques he taught. Hope someone more familiar with Bama could verify that. IMO the only reason he's here is is from the same area as Stoops, good ole buddy system.

A definite problem with replacing the OL line coach, or anyone else on the staff, who would take the job? There is a definite possibility that Stoops will be fired after next year. If so, the new coach is likely to want to replace the entire staff.

Who else can lay claim to two disappointing o lines in the same season? Honestly, shouldn’t have saddled Hamden with that guy but I would say if Stoops is back, both OL coach and OC will be back unless they better deal UK.

imma be honest the line has sucked the 2 years before he came back as well. That his fault too? We can’t keep firing coaches after a year. OL isn’t something that’s an overnight fix. And he’s suppose to be a good recruiter. Let’s see how it goes.

He’s not been good anywhere he’s been and this year is his pinnacle of incompetence.
I think it’s a given. We should have never hired him back in the first place
It's hard to imagine that when John Schlarman was our O-Line coach. Year in and year out we had one of the 3 or 4 best O-Line's in the country. We were so good on the OL that our OL earned a nickname THE BIG BLUE WALL. Since Schlarman our OL couldn't block a high school team. Getting called for penalties on 3 & 4 plays in a row, this crap is beyond embarrassing......HECK YEAH OUR OL COACH NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!!!
