It was expected. I just hope we don't lose Clifton Moore. He's a crean recruit that potentially wants out. He's one of those that shot up 7 inches in high school so late bloomer. He's only a 3/4 star but he's going to be a stud in 2 or 3 years. You heard it here first.
We have a 3 star Anthony Davis coming in next year if he doesn't decide to go elsewhere now and the other 2 are decent if they don't go too. Along with what's left they'll be ok and be a 6 or 7 seed next year, most likely. Google clifton moore and watch his highlights. I think he's the best 3 star I've ever seen. Obviously I don't want IU recruiting 3 star guys often but it's ok when they have the potential of an OG or this Moore kid. He may be on the market soon but doubt Coach Cal would offer him but he should.
I would love if Archie got to the point where he could get all 5 star guys every year but I doubt that ever happens and that's fine as long as he gets some. My question is do you guys miss at all seeing guys like a Moore come in and get better every year and not go pro until their junior year at the earliest?
I do and don't be a prick I'm over here all the time and usually get along with people just fine. All I'm saying is look at Moore's highlights and see if you would want Cal to offer him. Maybe I'm wrong and I'm just seeing what I want to see but he may be back on the market soon and I think a coach would be crazy to not offer this kid if they have an open spot for him.

Don't they allow you on the IU board ? And it is just like IU fans calling people names.
Clifton moore. IU recruit but wants out of his loi or whatever. Archie met with him yesterday I believe in an attempt to keep him. He's basically a poor man's Anthony Davis. 6'10 athletic...can pass, dribble, and shoot. Needs to gain a lot of weight and obviously keep getting better and I'm sure he will. I'm from Washington in so I got to watch all of the zellers. He reminds me of Cody his senior year. Cody made a huge stride from his senior year to his freshman year at IU. I could see this kid being very similiar.
I'm on our board all the time. I started a thread about this kid a few days ago. Also, I didn't call anyone a name. I'm over here a lot when my board gets old and there's an IU thread. I get along tine with 98% of the people on this board and find the majority of you are pretty cool to talk ball with. All I'm saying is check this kid out and see what you think. No he's not ready to come in and be a star but I think in 2 or 3 years this kid could be pretty darn good.
Cody Zeller. I'm from Washington so I got to see all 3. It was a fun decade. But this clifton kid reminds me a bit of Cody when he was in high school. Cody was farther along but I think this kid could be just as good one day.
Is archie Miller a good recruiter? What is his story why was Cal talking about how good he was on the NCAA tourney show before the tournament started and he was still at Dayton?
Haha really u just messing with me now? I've said everything I know about him in other posts. I pay for the IU site but don't here so I'll run out of posts soon. Clifton moore just Google him and watch his highlights. I know u guys don't go after under the radar type of kids but if Cal were ever to I think he'd be a good one to get if he gets out of his loi.
They're really good friends. I think they grew up in the same area and Archie's dad coached Cal or something like that so they're very very close. And on Archie and recruiting I guess we'll see soon. He's put together a great staff. Got bruiser flint who's one of Cal's boys and stole Ed schilling from ucla. He's the guy that got Wilkes. He has a lot of ties to Indiana so he should help recruiting here. I think Archie's going to do great but we'll see.
For some reason he liked Crean. Not sure yet if he's going to stay or go. Crean has taken guys like him and gotten them into the NBA but he's also struck out a zillion times too. I think this kid is one of those that will end up being great though.
He's overrated. He'll do well defensively but doubt he'll be scoring much anytime soon. If you need scoring which most teams in the lottery do they shouldn't risk a pick on him. I guess he'll get picked mid late first Rd by a good team that can bring him along slowly. He can guard any position though which is a huge plus. The guy is a physical freak but he can't create on his own and his jumper is so so. In 4 or 5 years though he could be really good or be out of the league.
