I wouldn’t go that far. Brohm has a perfect situation in year one. He couldn’t have gotten a better schedule. But credit to them, they are playing very well
Then stop it. He's getting reps for his backups. It's called building a program. I'm not going to bitch a coach who's won back to back titles. He's doing something right. And if it were reversed we wouldn't be going "oh, we shouldn't have done that."
Stoops is going earn his check the rest of the season. These 5-0 starts are as meaningless as a halftime score. The last six games are why you’re getting paid the big bucks.
If you can't outrecruit them then you have to outscheme them. We don't do that very well under Stoops. We try and get a lead playing smashmouth football while playing not to lose and milking the clock. We also have to pray we don't make a single mistake with undisciplined players.
That has gotten us wins over the middle of the pack, but it doesn't work against the top teams. We're never going to be better than like 5th or 6th in the conference most years. Especially with Texas and Oklahoma incoming. The ceiling was hit a few years ago and is starting to get lowered.
We were outplayed, out coached and I didn’t have them ready, it’s on me. We will watch film tomorrow and start fresh Monday getting ready for a tough Mizzu team.

UL is going to win their big game with ND. Meanwhile, Stoops troops prolapsed all over prime time TV.
It’s an impressive win by them for sure. But Louisville couldn’t have gotten a better schedule if they wanted to. They only play one tough team on the road, and get the only other tough games at home.
Louisville is for sure better than Kentucky right now, but that game has always taught me one thing Louisville coaches overthink that game so much

Smart kept throwing long after he would have in the past. It is an example of changing and growth as a coach. He got backups good reps and kept playing winning football. Stoops just hasn't evolved with the job. Were the roles reversed, Stoops would have simply gone vanilla at half and run the clock out.
Yeah, I realized the error of my ways early this morning and thought of just cancelling it or taking a bit of money back from a cash out but decided to stay the course. I'll learn!
I understand the thought process. Georgia looks a little down, UK has been solid. We can compete right?! Nope 😂 same ole story.

Thats your opinion and you are certainly entitled to it. But Kirby's responsibility is to his program and players. He demands 100% effort from everyone in the program. There was a single starter in the game for either team that I am aware of. Both team's subs practiced all week just like the starters did, were expected to give max effort every practice, but are suppose to not try in real games? Yes it was a pass, by a backup QB to a 4TH string RB coming off an ACL injury. When UGA was up 21-0 why did UK keep trying to score?

Bottom line is- if you don't want them to score than STOP THEM FROM SCORING. This isn't pee wee baseball where they have a 10run rule. It's football and Georgia was clearly better at executing their game plan.
Best coach in the nation, no one is even close imo. Master motivator, seems like a decent guy. Dude was Saban’s best recruiter and one of the top in football and still is. Total recipe for winning championships.
Amazing how people who have lost by a combined score of 1000-30 over the last four years talk shit but then again we should never underestimate how stupid they are.
