I'm shocked how we rebound, defend and yet have stayed in this game. The truth is someplace else. For example, we can shoot (52%) and don't turn the ball over (3).

I said he’d average 6ppg, couldn’t shoot or create his own shot and looked weak. Making this guy a 5* was laughable imo
I like that the team didn't fold under early pressure when A&M was hitting all those 3s early and the crowd going nuts I thought for sure we were heading to get down double digits and instead the Cats players fought through it and is now only down 1 despite some serious BS like losing a point on lane call and like losing a possession on the idiot ref missing goal tend and it cost us the rebound.
Of course they didn’t review it and take points away like they did us

We've been medicore defensively since 2019.
The 2020 team was as bad as this one on defense despite having a NBA 5 and 2 NBA guards.
Our defensive issues go deeper than the roster.

Poythress was a really good defender that could switch anything while guarding 4/5 positions
