Any other coach the SEC would call timeout there to at least try and block/return the punt with enough time to score. Stoops takes the runoff so we can hurry up and get to halftime down 10-7 and kick to start the 3rd quarter. My patience has worn pretty thin with this type of game management.

Beamer knows Stoops well enough. He should have went for that first. First of all, good chance he gets it. Second, even if he doesn’t, Stoops just takes a knee or runs it up the middle to end the half. No way he’s going to take a shot at end of half. Dumb move Beamer.
Those last 5 mins of the half are why Kentucky will never take the next step as a program. We have a chicken shit coach, undisiplined players, and terrible clock management

I’m not exactly happy with Stoops and this team, but maybe he lets the coordinators, you know, coordinate things in the TOs?
I could maybe see not taking a timeout there if we got the ball to start the 2nd half… maaaaaybe. But we don’t. That was just plain ignorant.
I see barnhart watching this on the sideline thinking how he can get Stoops to 10 mill a year.

You know how and at your job you have to be, to see 1 minute left in the half the potential to score before the half, and let the clock drain out and knowing the other teams get the ball to start the second half
