Leading scorer in the game and Booker was all over him....I know in your mind he is no Andrew but he is pretty damn goodOriginally posted by UKWildcats#8:
Guy can't do a damn thing if we guard him. Not impressed at all.Originally posted by rolaid:
Riley LaChance is a bad white boy
But remember, he doesn't dislike Kentucky at all. In fact, he loves Kentucky! He's just trying not to show it.Originally posted by catben:
Candy just gave us a gift with the flagrant 1.
How is it a "flop" as Darrin Horn just stated when the Vandy kid knocks Booker down with the elbow????
We know Bev, and we agree.Originally posted by Bkocats:
is it wrong of me to say that I consider LaChance a little, um....ok, so I can't say the word but I'm sure y'all know what I mean.
I wanna snatch him baldheaded - little skinny white guy with this little mask on his little weasel face - getting calls cause they feel sorry for his little sorry self
But other than that, the game feels meh - not good, not bad, just....there. No doubt Cats win, but....
Let's just talk about the star of today's game, and major distraction to our players. hahahahaOriginally posted by nookam:
I guess I'm too busy watching the game to give two shits what the crowd is doing.Originally posted by sefus12:
Not using this as an excuse, but the crowd at Rupp can be absolutely embarrassing at times. They have less energy than Dakari has vertical when the Cats aren't on a 100% role. I don't understand how a fan-base as passionate as the BBN can be as quite/tame and offer absolutely NO home court advantage. I dislike UL as much as anyone, but their fans can certainly bring the noise, and not just when they are rolling. I know the blue-hairs provide the funds, but UK has to find a way for Rupp to bring the noise even if the Cats aren't at their best.
The bald ref & the black 1 have called a foul just about every time we get a finger tip on a Vandy player... yet there has to be major contact for there to be a whistle on Vandy. That being said.... we're NOT helping ourselves AT ALL w/ our lack of intensity. Seems like after the 1st 3 min, we just stopped caring.Originally posted by Wildcat-in-STL:
wasn't just a mugging underneath. Did you guys notice they were fouling us on many jump shots as well by touching the arm or body checking us during the shot. I suppose the official just thinks Andrew Harrison and Aaron Harrison just miss shots that badly because they suck ??
1. It's Vandy.Originally posted by sefus12:

If this game was at Vandy, UK would be up 20 or more at the half.Originally posted by JerseyCat84:

I think you COMPLETELY missed the point of my post. Good try though.Originally posted by mdlUK.1:

I was always taught to keep the ball chin high and sweep across to clear the ball. Keeping it up high reduces the risk of a strip b/c, most likely, guys are going to hit your arm and foul.Originally posted by SilentsAreGolden:
Johnson has to change the way he receives passes and makes his moves. 1.5 yrs in now and he's still bringing the ball down the his waist, bending over, and barely getting an inch off the ground. If he isn't getting his shot blocked, he's getting it stripped. His best move by far is when he gets the ball on the block on the left side, drop steps and lays it off the glass. He is very good at that. Everything else, not so much.
More Lyles mid-range jumpers, and please for the love of God, run something to get Booker open!
