I'm about sick of these 2nd rate announcers cryi ng about the Free Throw disparity,it's not like ISU wasn't being overly physical all game

Just glad to get the W. Thought Lee showed some aggressiveness tonight, glad to see that.
Guys, it's November... I just got back from a concert and missed the game, and checked this forum and thought the sky is falling. This is a young team, and seems like they clearly missed Tyler Ulis. When he's back, it will be better. At least we're not actually losing these games like during some of the Tubby years and BCG years.
Cal has plenty of work to do, this game showed some things he will not like....free throw shooting, assist and rebounding
I could care less what the Free Throw difference was,playing Hack Attack is against the rules,Mugging a ball handler is against the rules,you play physical like they did you get called for it,better than bitching about the team you are supposedly a fan of.
I read stuff like this and realize, some of you just don't get it. There's a reason to the disparity...and it's done on purpose. The fact that we got to that line that much against physically abusing team is a good sign of growth. Now i do wish we make a lot more. Holy moly, we missed a lot.
But Murray (exception of sloppy TO), was playing a lot more aggressively, and so were other people. Early going, we made some badddd TO and too many missed free throws. This game would have been blown out win.
A lot of things to work on, but much better than i thought.

I say go back and look at a replay,anytime Cats moved the ball up the court,2 defensive players were using body and legs to bump the ball handler around,that would appear to be a violation of Freedom of Movement even though it's not hands,it's not a loophole in the rule
Wow - unreal. Things like this have to be a joke right? This game doesn't even come close to being in the top 100. Actually saw a lot of good things. Briscoe did a lot of good things as well as some bad. Lee played great in second half. Poy was big when we needed a couple buckets. Hawks d was great. Obviously missed Tyler big time but he can't play 40 minutes every game all year.
Coach Cal: You don't want to go through a season where every game is easy. This stuff is hard...win by 12, this game we could've easily lost.

I'd have to go to school, the wife and I stopped at I think McDonalds for some chicken nuggets and the wife wanted a coke (Just got off the ocean and was parched). I had a hard time working that machine. (The newer one) Ridiculous.... (I work in info technology too)

A) It's great to have new fans that weren't around during the Gillispie team. Especially the Vandy game that turned the good looking Judd into Medusa.
B) If we wouldn't have shot more free throws, then we would have made more baskets by not getting fouled on said shots.
It's a shame we have fans that are too stupid to see this. You aren't even talking about esoteric basketball knowledge, just plain ole common sense. SMH
