This team needs to push it constantly. They can't score consistently in the half court. More and more teams are just going to pack it in so that we can't feed the post or drive the ball.
I know, too bad the final four is tomorrow. Imagine if we had UK teams like this before in November...oh wait.
What would you call it? Ulis shot the ball well from 3 last year, so yes, I would call it a slump.
This happens every year where some random no name challenges UK. Last year UK struggled with Buffalo and Columbia and the champions had old dominion and Arkansas little rock. So no real reason to worry unless it's close with under five minutes to go.
last year we had KAT and WCS, had wide open threes. could take his time. doesnt have that this year. maybe this is how he actually shoots
Was all of last year and this year's exhibitions and first game the fluke? Or is this 3 and a half game stretch a slump?
Yeah but not worried about that much as Ulis , Murray , Willis and even Poy are really between 38%-45% shooters and Mulder is he ever played would shoot them as well and make most . Just gotta off to a slow start and Murray's 1-9 game didn't help . Still that is a strength of this team IMO and I like being zoned unlike years past . I don't like Briscoe shooting more then 1 a game and same goes for Matthews .
He shot in the 40's last year, so that would suggest he's better than he currently is.
and Freshmen make mistakes,we lost a huge portion of the team last year,Remember?

This BU team is worse than last years' and is currently missing its top 2 players. UK has been awful 2 games in a row.
Boston played our 38-0 team last year this tough too,in fact UK only had a 5 point lead at the half last year,we have a Freshmen laden team going against a Senior laden team,Boston is no pushover.
His 3's tonight were pretty good, wide open looks.
And I saw someone else say we are 0-9 from three other than Murray. Yeah...we really need to jack up more 3's the way we are shooting.
