Absolutely awful last possession coaching there. Why would you ever go to Mitchell there? Have they ever made a last possession basket. Cal is the worst I’ve ever seen in those situations.
I know we're supposed to view our opponents as villians, but I like this Penn team. They're crafty and share the ball. That said, they got away with a lot of fouls in the first half.
I thought you said in another thread you weren't going to watch today?
Mitchell had Wagner wide open for 3. I mean..Cal can't pass for him. Jeez.
Definitely could've made a few more plays in the first half but I'll take a 10 point lead. Bradshaw 9 points, 7 rebounds, 2 blocks and a steal is a sight for sore eyes
Bradshaw actually played pretty well, but I wish we’d play 4 out around him some on offense. Trying to play him and Mitchell both on the block all the time is killing the flow we had in the early season.
They are definitely letting Penn be physical in the paint. Spinosa can basically just do whatever he wants without a whistle.
All you have to do is watch that last possession and that sums up Cal in a nutshell. I have no clue how so many take up for him

Cal wants to pound the ball inside! That’s never gonna change with him! The beautiful fast offense we were running is gone!
You seem angry. Worked in 2 "morons" in the same sentence. There is a reason Cal brought in Z at the last second, and it wasn't because he was 100% sure Bradshaw would be playing.
We are shooting 44% from 3 which clearly suggest that we should be shooting more. We need to stop forcing passes down low. A coach with half a brain should realize that we should be using our outside shooting to open up the low post for our bigs.
I laughed when I saw it. 10k posts in little over 2 years. You live on here but was thinking of not watching. That made no sense at all.
I would like to see 4 guards and Bradshaw for a bit. I think 2 bigs might be hurting things.
One funny thing about talking about the defense is that Penn only scored 29 points. We didn't do a bad job on the 3, but they were 11 for 21 inside the arc.
Loved seeing Bradshaw in there for most of the first half. Think he played very well for the most part. Seems like he's starting to get his conditioning up. Should only get better.
Would like to see some rotations with Bradshaw as the only big on the floor rather than always playing with Mitchell. I don’t recall seeing the combination at all yet.

The players didn't pass enough in the last game so they are more focused on passing today than scoring baskets. Cal needs to get out of his players' heads. Let these guys play the game the way that they have proven that they can effectively play.
It's like watching road kill. We know the seasons gonna end in failure due to calipari but we all watch.
