This is a C grade at best for Pope this game. 2 guys are keeping UL in the game and it looks like Cal’s defense on the accountant.
I find it amazing that the same people who were super negative during Cals last few years are….. (wait for it) negative now. That tells me either they are trolls or just super negative people. This hasn’t been pretty but we are winning and we will probably win. Louisville is hitting shots they normally would not hit, and are mudding it up. What’s worse is Pat Adam’s. It’s going to be ok.
Our bigs are the laziest part of this team. They stand around get their butts kicked by much smaller players. I hope Pope corrects this with future classes. We need athletic bigs. Auburn is going to kill these guys.
Yes I agree. Not recognizing the lack of hustle against an inferior team is stupidity.
3-pointers have been the difference, along with our terrible 65% FT shooting. UL has shot 35 3-pointers to our 19.

Forced that shot down low out of a timeout. Clearly drawn up by Pope. It wasn’t there. Should have passed out of it.
Don’t have to like them, but gotta respect them !!
The seeming refusal to get on the floor for loose balls, to not go after the ball after a miss, to not hold onto the ball instead of playing finesse. That is lack of effort. That's a tough one for Pope, I'd try Noah out there.
So I wonder if the team will actually guard the 3 this possession
