To be a team that supposedly focuses on the 3, I do not understand why we never look in the corner when we drive. Getting to the line means NOTHING if you don't hit them.

Shooting 70% overall, 71% from 3 and only up 6. We need to take more threes and force some turnovers.
I’m glad Robinson showed up at Gonzaga but Pope needs to realize that 90% of the time he is a turnover when running point. It is what it is. He doesn’t like it. He doesn’t want to do it. He will never ever be good at it.

There's only 1 way UofL can win this game, threes and we're allowing them to get open looks, we should be playing above the 3 point line, make them try to win it with midrange shots.

Louisville with the big two assists in the first half. If we play zone against them they're done.
Cuz they ain't scoring by passing the ball in the first half. And that's what you have to do against the zone. If they have to pass the ball they're going to turn the ball over.

They have to get open before they can shoot them. Teams have learned how to guard our 3 and we’ee going to struggle until we go inside-out. However. Garrison won’t pass it back out and instead is determined to take a highly contested shot.
The ball becomes dead if it passes over the top of a rectangular backboard regardless of the action which causes it to pass over or whether it comes from the front or back of the plane. BOTTOM LINE: If a ball goes over a rectangular backboard, from either direction, front or back, it immediately becomes dead.

I think Kelsey is doing a good job, but Pope has been successful adjusting in the second half. Gonzaga got 50 in the first half and 29 in the second.
I need to see 40 full minutes of effort from this team before I am ready to say they are a serious contender. They can't just come out in a burst and then piss out for the rest of the first half like this. Gonna bite them in the big games.
Talk about misleading. We’ve only shot 7 of them. That’s like going 1-1 from 3 and being shocked we’re losing because we are shooting 100%
He’s awful. Other ref came over to change that one call and he had to show he’s the boss out there.
You never know what you are going to get with Garrison, sometimes he’s very good, others his head is not in the game. Pope needs to get in their shit at halftime, you can’t play half a game against a rival. We have to finish them off the second half and stay focused, quit messing around with them.
I'm guessing our strategy was just to drive into double/triple coverage and throw up a prayer. RUN THE OFFENSE. This isn't Cal ball.
