It's March. Time to go out and win every time we play.
Maybe it doesn't mean that much for some people in BBN, to win the SEC tournament this year (or any other) :
But that's what we do. WIN. So win the damn thing. They started the SEC tournament again to get someone OTHER than Kentucky assuredly into the NCAA tournament, basically. Well, this year, the whole league is basically getting in because they finally played basketball like the conference is capable of. So screw it all. Win it.
Never mind worrying about : if playing 4 games in 4 days could lead to worse injury or wear us out for the NCAA tournament at this point. JUST WIN. Bring home that trophy. (maybe playing 4 games in 4 days will reveal more of the improvement, role playing, team building and development, that can propel us forward.
Never mind who we have to face. Sure, would an easier path against an "easier" SEC team, or one we matchup well with. IT DOESN'T MATTER at this point of the season. WIN.
All of the hand wringing pansy faced worrying and fretting, throw it out the window. Turn the paradigm on it's head.
We're Kentucky and we expect to win every time we step onto the floor against ANYONE. That's never really changed here.
So I say win the SEC tournament, unleash the blue mist for the SEC and go out and dominate the tournament in shocking fashion and win it. Let everyone else look at us and worry. OH, Kentucky wins the SEC tournament, and they got a 3 seed ? oooooh. So freaking what. Maybe they will give us a shocking 4 seed even if we win it.
and would anyone be surprised if they did that ? NO (we've seen worse snubs before)
So WIN. I hope the guys look at our trophy case and see all those trophies and wants to add one for themselves.
So go out and do it... Add a couple more this year.
Take no prisoners.
I'd love to see us get another shot at Georgia. They're not shooting damn near 40 free throws in the tournament setting.
I'd ABSOLUTELY love to see Alabama again this year. They are NOT beating our Cats, not this team, three times in a single season. In the end , it doesn't matter who we end up playing. We can beat anyone in our league.
Just do it.
Go Big Blue !
