IIRC, he received a few CBs to UK but was wondering if that speculation has changed. Judging from the bowl game, we definitely need another RB. I still think Wright, long term, is going to be better than McClain but he hasn't shown much except in one-offs thus far. Beckwith is evidently going to be an H-back, more than likely, and Jefferson is an unknown due to injury, almost no PT this season and does he even come back if healthy?

The transfer from Vandy looks to be the immediate replacement for CRod but, after that, it gets pretty thin at least based on production thus far. From all accounts, Wilcox could be a stud and just might be RB2 (or RB1b behind Jones) pretty quickly.

We'll know Friday but any new scuttlebutt to report?

I don't know but him getting to know Boulware I think helps with Boulware's history and reputation. Still listing us, Auburn, Clemson and OH ST.

Surely he saw the ball game and that we had no run game whatsoever. He could step in and be number two, at worst.

If/once he commits, My hope is that he & Davis could provide something similar to what Benny & Boom did in 2016.

Add to that the potential passing game from Leary and the TE/WR room, the offense could be pretty dynamic. The big question would be can the WRs/TEs block as well as their respective groups did in 2016?

My hope is he commits and enrolls, takes a financial aid deal from the university and not sign a letter of intent. Classes should be starting pretty soon I guess.

Would say that Wilcox is more suited for a wide zone blocking while Davis is more of a "CRod" style of back?
