I know this probably will cause a firestorm, but I want to express my opinion on Great. I watched the SDSU game last night and was totally unimpressed. I had just read on the board and your comments then just accepted that he was going to be the prize transfer.
Some of what I observed
Looks closer to 6’7”
Physically looks out of shape-there were times he didn’t make it into front court on the break.
Poor free throw shooter-the announcers said he had missed 14 FTs in the last two games
Poor defender and definitely not good jumper
Going to struggle with SEC athleticism
Just to be clear I had great expectations since everyone seems to think he is the impact player that we are lacking. If he is a top 5 portal player, then I would question the people doing the rankings.
Please tell me what I am missing because I want to be wrong.
