Not Everybody is UK; Florida Taking Buses to Georgia

Sorry but when the University of Kentucky mens basketball team travels, they deserve to travel in style..not being on a bus for hours..and btw..if UF bused to Athens, probably reason they lost to UGA yesterday, team didnt get enough rest, and the way it sounds, UF looked tired and lazy yesterday

Err, my age is none of your business. What is sad is that you think so much of yourself that you can tell someone's age from a phrase. Also, I get paid in an office where there is a beer keg, a ping pong table, a chipping green and a pool table and it is not in a bar so keep your weak stuff at home. So, 'You mad bro'?

It was a luxury bus with beds and all, probably a lot nicer on the inside than any plane they would have taken, they rested and watched game film, played video games, etc

But the argument those Gator fans had over it was awesome. Billy made a comment about him not making those decisions and in classic message board fashion that comment translated in their minds to Billy leaving for the NBA soon because Foley doesn't treat the hoops team like the football team.

There have been pictures of the inside of UK's team bus on KSR. Nicest bus I've ever seen. Each seat looks like a lazy-boy recliner. Probably not as nice as flying, but they're definitely not cramped on a bus like normal folks.

Little info for you ....

The airlines are taking all the regional (50 seat) jets out of service. so, if you charter you have to take a big plane,unless
you can find somebody that still has a regional jet in service.

Athens airport runway is too short for big planes. (They are in the process of lengthening them).

So besides the expense of the bigger plane, the Gators would have had to take their charter to Atlanta and bus
1 1/2 hours to Athens. So, they just took the bus.
