If this doesn't indicate that the season is wide open, I don't know what does. For instance, last year, 6 teams entered the NCAA Tournament with 3 or less losses. There might not be a single one this year.

With half the conference season still left there's no question probably all those teams will have more losses. We might very well have #1 seeds with 6 losses. I don't think last year the combo of UK, Wisconsin, and Villanova had 6 total.

this is probably going to be the wildest tournament in history. May not see a 16 seed upset but I bet some 2,3 and 4's go out early.

Reminds me a lot of the 2013 tournaments (which UL won):

Top 4 seeds had 18 losses between them. UL 5, Kansas 5, Indiana 6, and Gonzaga 2.

Of course Gonzaga was overrated as will be Xavier and Villanova.

That Final Four was two 4-seeds Syracuse (9 losses), Michigan (7 losses), a 9-seed Wichita State (8 losses), and of course Louisville 1-seed (5 losses).

That was the weakest tournament in recent memory. This one, I believe will surpass that.

Wisconsin, Villanova, Duke and Kentucky (all the 1-seeds) had 8 losses combined entering last year's NCAA Tournament.

This is why I haven't got my panties in a wad. Everyone thinks we have blown our chances of playing in Louisville... Not so fast my friends!! Whole lot of teams losing regularly, and much basketball still left.
