What’s incredible is that I turned and looked towards the south and saw pinkish / crimson colors about 30 degrees above the horizon. The stars were all fuzzy and blurry from all the magnetic activity.I have taken so many beautiful pictures tonight.
It's pretty incredible for this far south.
Yeah it's actually better to the South where I'm at too. What’s incredible is that I turned and looked towards the south and saw pinkish / crimson colors about 30 degrees above the horizon. The stars were all fuzzy and blurry from all the magnetic activity.
I've only seen them twice, maybe three times in my life in Ky. I would think you've seen a pretty rare event for Florida. They were faintly visible with my phone here in South Florida. One of my neighbors was taking a late evening walk and asked me why I was taking a pic of in the sky. It blowed/blew his mind when I showed him.
Did the same. I told my wife that the moon was illuminating on some clouds and the sky looked a little pinkish. LOL, had no clue it was Northern Lights. At least I wasn't just seeing things. What’s incredible is that I turned and looked towards the south and saw pinkish / crimson colors about 30 degrees above the horizon. GDit. Looks like they will be right in Bowling Green. Well maybe Franklin.Cicadas, Northern Lights, Eclipse, pretty cool times. Cicadas already really loud in western Ky.
Cicada map. Already emerged here.
I'm sure you are aware that you can't be too far north to commit murder. 602 to 598 sounds like a small town population within 48 hours of you visiting.I didn't know you could be too far north to see the Northern Lights. I have a friend in the military that took 2 trips to Northern Alaska and another in the fall this year on a government pork project to help some Eskimo community of between 598 and 602 people.

That's where this group resides. Along with western Kentucky.Wtf is going on in Illinois and Missouri? Lol
Imagine seeing this BEFORE we knew what it was? It would make anyone pray. That is equally breathtaking, yet horrifying. Our southern friends did better...
