Agreed. We needed a QB and an experienced RB. No doubt. But, Maclin is a proven quantity. This pickup reminds me of UL grabbing Georgia Southern’s Thrash last year. Really great addition.

I'm one of the bigger Barion Brown fans here (probably because he's my son's favorite player) and am a huge fan of his ability to take the top off the defense and obviously his kick returning prowess. But slot receiver should generally be one of if not the best route runner on the team. Not Brown's strength at all. Not to this point at least. Maclin is the slot guy. Has to be.
