…..today if Pope didn’t call him home.

Not the way we played defense today! He would have scored 20 against us guaranteed!!!
Cal did not even recruit Noah, thank goodness that Pope recruited him after he became coach.
I couldn't stand how Cal ran our program. It's fine to have a couple of OAD talents but you need to mix them with experienced players that have been in your program and help build the culture. The only culture Cal had was to be selfish and play for the name on the back of the jersey, not the front. And if things aren't going your way, shut it down and either transfer or we'll come up with some BS injury excuse. And that’s a big part of why Cal is where he is now. He can’t seem to understand or just doesn’t care that kids like Noah are for more important to a program than guys like Karter Knox and Billy Richmond that may be better players at the high school level and early on in college, but come in with a foot out the door.
I guarantee regardless of how their season finishes out, Knox and Richmond will try their damnedest to go pro. And we’ll have Noah for 3 seasons at minimum. Long enough for him to have far surpassed either of Knox or Richmond’s contributions to Arkansas basketball.
I hope Arkansas misses the tournament and still has half their team leave early for the NBA. Their fans can watch Cal proudly smile in the green room. And that’s a big part of why Cal is where he is now. I think Chandler definitely has the most upside because of his combination of height and athleticism but I do think Perry will be a legit scoring point guard in a couple years. I do think Noah is the best of the bunch right now and I really hope he grows another inch or two...not impossible for a guy that looks 14.iMHO, Noah has the it factor. more than Chandler or Perry. Dont get me wrong but when you have 2 players that scored as many points as Noah and Perry, they can both shot lights out. I would just giv them the ball and tell them to win the game. Any and all flaws they may have on defense wont matter. Anyone who say these two play
n in the State Tourney knows what I mean. They are both tough as wang. They hit big shots in the biggest stage. Shooters like Perry and Noah come around very few times in a lifetime.
Strange topic to start. I would understand it if he blew up but he really didn't do much so don't really get the whole need to start a new topic.…..today if Pope didn’t call him home.

I like Noah, and think he’s a four or five year guy assuming the NCAA grants a fifth year. I don’t think he’s NBA caliber, but that doesn’t mean he can’t become a great college player. I would like to see him hit the weight room, become a physical specimen, maybe even grow a beard, and just become one of those hard nosed bulldogs, who is a menace in defense, a rebounder and a lights out shooter. Would like to see similar from Perry, but I think he’s just destined to look like a 30 year old accountant playing ball.iMHO, Noah has the it factor. more than Chandler or Perry. That might be true for in-state players, but Koby Brea is one of the greatest 3-point shooters that UK's ever had.iMHO, Noah has the it factor. more than Chandler or Perry. I agree with you. If Noah had played a big role in the game's outcome, the thread would have made more sense.Strange topic to start. I would understand it if he blew up but he really didn't do much so don't really get the whole need to start a new topic.
Noah is our best freshmen and it isn't close. I think he breaks out next season. I am not sure about the other 2…..today if Pope didn’t call him home.
