If Donovan goes to OKC and any of the Florida recruits - namely Dickerson - ask for a release, UK needs to be all over this guy. Watched him a couple of times this year and was extremely impressed. The guy is a slightly bigger version of Montrezl Harrell.

Yeah he is a 4 star and would seem to definitely fill a need for depth at the 4.

Naturally I hate for players to be compared to a lulzville linebeard, but I'll make an exception for Montrezl, because any way you put it, he was a very good player in college. Bring him in.

Dickerson is like 6'8" 250-ish PF, but played Center in HS. In the games I saw him in he owned the boards and dunked everything that got near him. Wherever he ends up, he's going to be a really good player.

I've coveted Dickerson ever since I saw him earlier this year after he'd signed with Florida, I think he'll be right up there with Simmons, Skal, Dozier, Briscoe, Newman, etc. for Best Freshmen in SEC next year, and that's saying a lot. Huge talent infusion into the league next year.

However even assuming he decommits, it may be very hard to convince someone you never really pursued as far as I know to commit when starting is not really an option.

Personally, I would go after Sterling Gibbs too. You just can't overstate the importance of a guy who can shoot.

Then again, I have no idea why Cal didn't press harder for Mack, so I don't know. We seem to disagree on who to recruit lol. I didn't get the interest in the Kirk kid.
