Noah and Perry

Haters is EXACTLY right! There has been so much negativity about those two guys, it’s unreal. Yeah, Perry is a little rough defensively currently, however, they both are and will continue to be contributors to the program! Love me some Noah! GBB!
I haven’t seen the hate about Noah. For sure they will be contributors, but Perry will never play a ton of minutes with how weak he is defensively. And I’m not sure there’s that much he can do about it.

It's so strange and likely due to the culture that was created here that some people are unrealistic about what to expect from freshmen.

But these are exactly the type of guys we've all been clamoring for Cal to bring in to fill out the roster. For moments exactly like this when we have Jaxon and Lamont out they rose to the occasion.

I’ll give them props, but Perry remains a huge liability on the defensive end. Whatever shots he makes are nullified by the amount of points he gives up.

Love Noah. I trust him to hit the open three more than anyone besides Brea.
i agree but i think he gives maximum effort on defense. hes just a lil bit lacking athletically.
but give him a year or two stronger and smarter. i think he can be alright defensively.

I would be looking at Noah as one of my main pieces. Most of the people on this board are saying he’s the 10 to 12th. I certainly hope that’s not the case.
Your dislike for Perry and the need to disparage him doesn’t make sense. He’s coming along and his defense wasn’t nearly as bad you’re saying. Relax

I just don’t think he has the body or athleticism or quickness to ever be good enough to stay in front of SEC-caliber point guards.

I think we’ll be fine giving him minutes during nonconference play, but I just don’t think you can have him in there trading buckets against real competition. If there is a possession in which Perry’s man does not blow by him, it is simply because Perry’s man didn’t try to.

getting stronger and smarter (better angles and anticipation) will help alot.
you are right he will never be the fastest but i think he can make it.
you may be right but i hope you are not lol

Could very well be seeing the early stages of a special backcourt.

I'd go all in with them as true soph starters in a heartbeat, start recruiting, and building the team for the next 3 years accordingly.

Hand over the keys, let them take the wheel and floor it down glory road.

also as i always said with oscar.
if you got a guy that good you have to as acoach scheme a way to keep him on the court. cal couldnt do it with oscar. i hope pope can do it with perry.
as he gets older he will only be a better shooter........wow

I’d like to think he’s going to get better. He’s a freshman.

How much fun was that!? And how much fun must they have had and seeing how well the other was doing too? They are developing nicely. Noah a bit quicker than Perry but I think we've got a couple of good ones if they stick around and develop.

Perry’s a gym rat. I expect him to work hard on his defense in the off season and be much better next year.
