I think they really don't wanna mess up and give a team an advantage on D that could cost the other team so it just tightens up instead of allowing "technically a foul but didn't effect play" fouls. In reality though they just assert their influence and ruin the game flow.Always amazes me the amount of foul calls at the end of a game that are not called in the first 35 minutes of the game.
At this point, the only logical way to end this matchup is trial by combat. Best three out of five. PG v PG, SG v SG, etc.Typical big ten foul fest in slow motion with timeouts every 20 seconds.
