Still a top 10 team. I knew we would be getting alabamas best shot. And let’s face is, alabamas best shot is probably one of the best 2-3 teams in the country when they’re allowed to play an up tempo game. We are close to bama but not quite there. The talent level/ athleticism favors bama at most positions and we didn’t win the 3 point battle as much as we needed to. No worries here. Other than I wish our defense was better but it is what it is at this point

I think the biggest thing that did us in is we gave up our perimeter game too easily. Changed the momentum and the game math too much. If we can figure that out by watching film and take the lesson into postseason play I’ll call that a net win. We aren’t getting any better whistle when we go down to Tuscaloosa so we better hope there’s a growth opportunity to be found in here somewherre.

Honestly Williams had some crucial pouting moments but you could absolutely tell when he wasn’t in there. We were getting eaten alive. When he was in there, he was getting things done

Nothing to worry about here every SEC game will be a blood bath. There will be 12 SEC teams make the tournament. This will make this team tough come tournament time and I predict Pope and the Cats to at least make the 2nd weekend of the NCAA tournament.

Not going to panic, because I still think they could have won that game, in some ways the cats lost that one with too many poor sets on offense where they either took a bad shot or missed an easy one, plus I thought we got away for O down the stretch until he fouled out. The guy was carrying the team then nothing.

Game was lost with that 9-0 run at the end of the game after it was tied 81-81. Key rebounds and they hit big shots propelled them to the win. We made those plays vs Florida and unfortunately didn’t tonight. We’re still a top 10 team IMO

We’ve already exceeded expectations with this team. We didn’t have time to get elite talent this year.

I like our chances to get past the first round now that Cal is gone ... after that, it's a game at a time. This season so far has been far better than I would have imagined. I am looking forward for Pope to recruit talent that is willing to be coached. Alabama is a top-flight team and deserved to win today but UK gave them all they could handle, and I think they were just happy to get out with the win.

He doesn’t deserve shit. Glad we have him to help give butler a rest but he is barely able to function out there as a freshman. He will probably be good one day but right now he is lucky to be getting the minutes he has and if he isn’t hitting open 3’s he’s not giving us anything except or a rest for butler.

Do yall want to win or are you that worried about a 18 year old from Kentucky playing and shooting more? Is it really that important to you? I do not get the obsession some of you have or what you’re watching when he’s out there. He is clearly overmatched against any guard in the SEC.

Not this year with the way it played out with the quick turnaround with getting a full roster here.. But you can put lofty expectations on this team if you want.. Now starting next year it'll be sweet 16 or just..

I’m good. This was a fun game. Can’t give up 102 but it’s Bama. We’re playing a good brand of basketball, there’s an identity, there’s chemistry. Losing at home in this tough ass league always is gonna hurt, I can’t ignore that, but it’s not the home effort we saw for so long where we come out flat and uninspired against some two-bit team who doesn’t care whether they win another game afterwards. I’m not expecting 13-5 in league play from this team, I think it’s gonna be 11-7 or 10-8, and I’d honestly be very happy with 12-6, that’s still 2 seed potential with how many top 15 wins we’d end up with.
