Remember when Coach Stoops came here ? He told Mitch Barnhart that he was gonna hire Mumme style coordinators and recruit heavily from the north. Doing that was different from anything anybody previously had done. He went out and did just that . Flash forward and with the changes in the game it’s clear he no longer believes in this. His biggest motivation for excepting the AM job was recruits and money for recruits. He stayed at Ky because they realized the fans was going to revolt if they hired him. If Coach was honest with us and himself , he no longer believes he can win here with the current climate and conditions. Our offense especially the line is a shadow of what it was and although our defense is still good the discipline is out the door. To me the question is this ! Can Mark Stoops convince himself to regain the fire he once had here or does he bring us back down to what we was ? I just don’t think he believes anymore !
