NM. Some of you idiots make this board a little unbearable sometimes. Its ridiculous. Just thought we might have some good discussion about a situation that could have an effect on our program. Guess I was wrong. Move along, move along, move along.

Why couldn't the Cavs had hired anyone beside David Blatt? Really! Anyone with even a lick if NBA experience would've done but they just had to hire David Blatt. Geez! Its like this guy is just trying to lose his job. First, you have the big timeout situation where he tried to call timeout when the Cavs were out and that may have cost them the series had he been granted that TO and gotten the technical. Then, last night he plays Kyrie Irving for close to 45 freaking minutes after coming off a knee injury and of course Irving had to get hurt again in that same leg. But seriously, I'm sure as hell no NBA coach but even I can figure out not to play him that much. I honestly thought we wouldn't have to worry about him getting canned for at least this year and probably a few more years since they'll be able to sign a top free agent to add to this team but if Kyrie is done for the rest of the Finals and the Cavs get swept or get beat then they may just fire him over this mistake. Guys have gotten fired for a hellava lot less and this is the Finals after all and it is Cleveland, who I don't need to remind you hasn't won a championship since.....well, EVER!! Why not rest him when Lebron was dominating? Its obvious that Lebron runs this show. He doesnt even ask to come in or out, he just gets up and goes. Lol. They just needed Blatt to not do something to screw it up. So, this is a HUGE mistake by Blatt and I pray that he can survive it. I honestly thought we were safe from him getting fired and them coming after Cal and then he had to go and do something as dumb as this. Lol.

I know I'm probably exaggerating this but what else do we have to talk about until Murray decides or we get an update somewhere. This thread is just for kicks.

I don't know about Blatt but I know about Cal, he STAYS right where he is.

Bingo, that is why you wouldn't take an NBA job when you have job security somwhere else, , there are a ton of reasons why the players may get mad at you and pout or not play hard, when you coach a team with super stars that's the risk you take and management always takes the players side when conflicts arise with players of that stature. No player should be able to call the shots of franchise, although some do.

Do coaches not get fired after just 1 year in the NBA? Cause it does happen and I believe I remember that Lebron and Blatt don't have the best relationship. While I agree, its unlikely, these big mistakes don't help his cause.

It sounds like you're just gonna have it out for Blatt no matter what. Had he sat Kyrie for more of the game, and GSW would have gone on a huge run with Delly out there, you would have been firing Blatt for not playing his stars enough. Honestly I think he's done as good of a job as anyone could have with all the roster turnover and injuries, he still got this team to the Finals and could still win it.

Lebron got them to the Finals and why does it sound like I have it out for Blatt? Its pretty obvious that I desperately want him to keep his job for as long as possible. I don't understand how you come to that conclusion from reading my post but OK.
I'm sorry but you can't say that GS would've went on a huge run without Kyrie out there. You are making him sound like a defensive star and when one of your star player is coming off a knee injury in which he admitted the healing process was very slow, you don't keep him on the floor that many minutes. I think the Cavs would rather have taken their chances with Kyrie on the bench than to have him miss the rest of the Finals. Don't think it takes John Wooden to figure that out.
