Adidas announces new network that will allow more than 50,000 student-athletes to be paid ambassadors
I was reading some articles on the main page. I noticed that all of the UL commits that were considered possible flips were mainly linked to other Adidas schools. I knew/figured Adidas had stepped up their game but hadn't really read anything about it. The link above is their announcement of their NIL program. The shoe companies have always been involved in football but it looks to me that there is going to be a line in the sand now, the way basketball has been for years. My guess would be, over the years, they will start earlier and earlier getting them linked to the brand. Not really a positive development IMO. That was one of the reasons I stopped following basketball in the first place.
