Meanstreets up 11 around 2 min left in Half. They are doubling Bethea in halfcourt and making other guys make plays. Nowell started off strong and Wright hasn't played very well. Sorber has kept them in it. Odd sub took a 1 possession game to a double digit hole.

Meanstreets is kicking Final's ass right now. Team Final keeps leaving shooters and #20 is a nice player for them. Hitting everything and beating them to every loose ball and toughness plays.

Bethea strikes me as a “not as fluid with the ball” Jeremy Lamb.

Lamb played PG his whole life and developed great ball skills, then grew to 6ft6 before his junior year.

TF needs to get Bethea the ball and let him create for others in halfcourt. He'll give it up. Had a beautiful assist to Sorber earlier when they ran 2 at him. He's not getting the ball enough.

Bethea strikes me as a “not as fluid with the ball” Jeremy Lamb.

Lamb played PG his whole life and developed great ball skills, then grew to 6ft6 before his junior year.

He's not a PG-he's more like a Doron Lamb in that he could play in a pinch-but he is an excellent passer/shot maker. More athletic then expected.

I don't like Wright as much as everyone in media does and think he's killed them in that Half.

Team Final got some stops, but then a play that symbolized the game so far--they had wide open 4 on 2--Bethea open on wing after making 2 FT's to start half on nice half court set play--Wright ignores him--and while he made 2 FT's next trip Bethea forces a bad 3 airball down 12 again.

Meanstreets is tougher/smarter team today to this point.

Sorber is a typical Ed Cooley big man. There's a lot to like in the effort, but he's going to be hurt by his lack of lift/athleticism in CBB.

Bethea hits 3 to cut it to 8......wide open next trip down in same spot--Wright goes 1 on 3 with a jackknife layup attempt that misses badly and they go down and stick 3 in their face. That's how this game has gone. I don't like when Wright runs the point. Nowell looks to get others involved far more. Wright looks to score. That pass is made--likely down to 5.

What young guys don't realize is those moments where you ignore the simple/easy play are going to result in your team screwing up and the opponent will almost always nail a big shot-usually a 3 and that happened time/time again today.

That said-that shot in corner Bethea had rim out would've cut it to 2 around a minute.....but they didn't deserve to win this game today.

KJ Windham #0 and #20 Nojus Indrusaitis were great for Meanstreets.

Easy to guess who the coaches are there for when you’re the prestige program like Kentucky.

He played a solid game. I like how he plays PG because he usually makes the right decision. Wright looks to score and if someone comes open if he can't get the shot off, then he'll drop it off. They play better in the Halfcourt when Nowell has the ball IMO.
