With news breaking that Bundalo canceled an upcoming visit to UK, could this be a positive development for Caleb Wilson or Chris Cenac?

Like I said in the other thread. No TP for my Bundalo.
Bundalo announced his visit only yesterday and cancelled today, the same day Pope had a follow-up visit with Wilson. Hmm...
That’s crazy. Really feels like we filled the spot.
It does but we all know how unpredictable these things can be. As I said in the other thread, Wilson still has other visits planned as far as we know (including UT this weekend if the reports are accurate).
Trilly today when asked if the Bundalo news means we like were stand with Wilson and/or Cenac he responded with "I believe so yes".

Wilson and Lewis will be good at UK. Also, filling the class already with highly sought players will be a wake up call for the rest. If you get an offer from UK you take it or someone else will.

I personally think Kentucky gets cenac, and Wilson goes to ark or unc. I know nothing like always, just my initial thoughts right now
Either one would be amazing honestly. I personally think it’s Wilson and Lewis all the way. Every time there is news it’s after we speak to Wilson or Lewis. They keep trimming lists and it’s looking good for both right now.
I think the exact same thing. Coach Brooks followed Cenac around like a madman on the Puma circuit this spring/summer.
Feels like there’s a musical chairs of 4 types. Wilson, Cenac, Bundalo(out for us obvi), Miikka reclass, etc. No team is doubling up on any of them. Arkansas/Cal is getting one I bet with his NBA pitch/NIL now. Just can’t afford to miss out completely. I think that can be the hardest spot to fill in the portal with big time players.
What time did this meeting take place with Wilson? Coach had media day today as well
Wilson feels like one of those recruits that Calipari will try to land by promising to start and play him exclusively at SF for his one year in college.
He just canceled his visit to Bama so maybe he doesn’t like Cal as much as reported… I suppose he may already know everything he wants to know, but usually even favorites like a late visit to seal the deal.

I thought I read that Wilson was a high academic performer, although I may be confusing him with another recruit. If so, however, maybe Wilson is smart enough to see through the BS (by any coach) and believes that development can co-exist with efficiency and productivity for the team and also that playing winning basketball might just be the best preparation for the next level.

Either one would be amazing and prove Pope can absolutely recruit the level of freshman talent we need each year. He already has IMO but an out of state top 5ish player his first year is big.
Want these guys bigly! Especially Lewis. Seems like the perfect college point guard. The type you ride to a national title.
Yeah I’m loving both of their games, but Lewis looks like a guard that can flat out score the ball. I also love the idea of having an all lefty back court. Seems like that throws teams off on defense since they drive to the weak side of 95% of the players they usually guard.
This is absolutely right. Always threw me off, guarding a lefty when I played. It’s just different.

How awesome would it be if Acaden Lewis was introduced on the court at BBM and then all of a sudden Wilson runs out of the tunnel to meet him at mid court and they both commit to UK. Talk about blowing the roof off that place!!
