NFL Legal Pass Rule Today

Burrows threw a TD pass today when I thought his knee was on the ground. He was not down by contact imo but rather tripped over his own lineman. So, assuming a NFL QB has a knee down but is live as he could continue to move forward, I'd think that a pass would still be legit. They gave the TD, but made no comment after review. I know in college the QB would be down & no pass.

Thoughts?
 
If not touched down by the defense QB is still live to throw, run, crawl, etc. The only difference is if they give themselves up via slide.

I actually hate what Mahomes does on the sideline a lot. He slows down and acts like he’s going out of bounds and then runs forward for additional yardage. I wish someone would just crush him when he does that!

Thoughts? Yes, you're incredibly stupid. And you do not understand that different leagues have different rules. Whoa ... who'da thunk?!?
