Yeap. Started the year ranked #2, went 0-3. Lost to Memphis, Colorado, and Dayton.

And then cried, and bitched, and moaned about it. I'm so glad he's up there with the rest of those arrogant asses.

It's money. The cost to go over there is immense, the tournament doesn't pay the teams anything, and meanwhile the Vegas tournaments are offering huge NIL payouts with identical exposure. Maui might become a thing of the past.

Exactly all about the $$$$$ and NIL $ to boot. Look for more of those kind of tournaments to continue and start up. Anytime a school can get into those tournaments and the team can get let's say 2 million in NIL funds they're going to jump at it and you can't blame them...
