I personally don't like it, it's Carolina blue I'd rather have the black alternate than them.

Kentucky can do black, gray, white but don’t change the color blue. Kentucky blue means something. Don’t tamper with it imo
Yuck. Carolina blue belongs nowhere near Lexington unless it’s being worn by a defeated opponent.

I like this look for basketball — but only if they add checkerboards too.
I don’t mind it baseball. Relatively common for an alternate uni in MLB with the Phillies, Cardinals, Braves, Cubs, Rangers, Twins, Tampa Bay, Brewers, etc).

I’m not a fan of it in baseball either but definitely more common. Why the cardinals need a baby blue uniform is beyond me but that franchise is a bunch of babies so it’s fitting

Absolutely not. No way we should should change our color blue and especially not the washed out Carolina blue. Never would I ever spend a dime on that kind of merchandise.
Love the look but for a UK team. The Blujays, sure.
Speaking of color changes, Duke wears a TON of super dark blue this season similar to Michigans blue when they're usually a lot closer to us in tone. Is changing that up a "thing" now? Noticed when they played UNC with the almost black lettering and warm up colors. Maybe it's a trend.

The light blue has been a widely used road jersey color for many MLB teams through the years as bthaunert said. For baseball, yes I think they would be fine for some road games but not all of them. In fact I'd like to have one with a big Cat head on the sleeve or in place of the front number as many baseball jerseys only have numbers on the back. But Gray would also look good.
It's fine to try alt styles. Keeps things fresh. But they need to be in your colors subset or at least GO with your colors (Black and Blue, Grey and Blue- works but not my favorite, etc.)
This subset is just....wrong.
I do too...so I know who to block so I don't gotta see their crazy opinions on this board ever again.

He’ll no, nothing Carolina blue should ever be associated with Kentucky basketball. Use any shade of gray, white, tan, black, anything but this.
