I really liked the denim. They would need to be tweaked though. The other obvious problem is it isn't Kentucky blue, and they probably wouldn't play well with recruits.

Per Kyle Tucker, UK will be unveiling new permanent uniforms next season and will no longer be wearing checkerboard uniforms.

Nothing is ever permanent. However, I am glad we are finally updating our uniforms. Let's just hope that they completely eliminate the checkerboard design altogether. 🤞

Retire the damn checkerboard. I think there is a correlation between missing out on top recruits and having the checkerboard. Kids don't want to look flat out stupid while they're playing, and those unis were the worst in history.
