They are not supposed to factor in recent play they did away with that many years ago the 1st game and the 31st game are supposed to be equal but one can't help to have eyes and see what is up. It has to factor at least a little.

If I know the 50 I can seed them pretty damn close. Anyone can do it. It's that he makes a lot of money doing what my 10 year old grandson can do also, which pisses me off. 😂
I agree. Last 2 ncaa tournaments we had a very manageable path to final four and won a combined 1 game.
Not sure they were easy routes, the brackets just fell apart for us and we didn't capitalize.
3 or 4 seed sounds about right, but who is in our bracket matters more to me. We're starting to peak at the right time, hope to see us take another step up in the SEC tournament.
I think if we win the SEC tournament we have a shot getting a 2 seed.
We are this years anomole and will be far under seeded as compared to our talent and ceiling. It took this team a while to click but they are a #1 seed who will end up being a #3 or #4 more than likely. Firmly believe we are one of the 3 best teams in the country. Not 5 or 10...it is us, UConn and Houston.

Over half of the brackets that BracketMatrix takes into account have not been updated since the TN win or any of the results Saturday. Need to wait a few days for that- that's why I never trust bracketmatrix, so many of them are behind.
picking who gets into the tournament is one thing.............picking the correct seeding is entirely something else.
Only a handful of teams are bubble teams. Anyone could get 65,66 67 or all 68 teams correct.
It's how u seed them that matters in terms of who is better with this stuff.
In bracket matrix we are a 4. Overall 13th. Right on the boarder. The wisdom of the crowd is usually correct with all this. Barring something crazy I'd assume a 3 seed.
Most of the ones that have updated along with the ones on 3/9 have us 4th seed. Given that both have us 4 I think it's safe to assume we are a fringe 3/solid 4 seed right now.

Maybe I’m looking wrong but they should be in the 5 range … seems the average teams are given a lot more weight than say the below average and crap .. doesn’t seem that they’ve beat any good teams besides Baylor.

Doesn’t matter where we are. Remember the #8 seed year beating the unbeatable Wichita State. Michigan State was a play in game one year and went a long way if I remember correctly.

Exactly lol. Like when we had Arizona set for game 2, as one of THE hottest team in the tournament, and then they get upset, and then some fans tried the whole "Well, UK had a gift region with Buffalo in the 2nd round".
No we didn't. The NCAA just couldn't finish the job by giving us a tough matchup. Arizona still had to win their game.
History shows our performance in the SEC tournament has really never helped or hurt us that I remember.
More so the final game. If we can win 2-3 games, and some other teams fall early.. we could stand to move up a spot. The problem is, a lot of the teams ahead of us, just don't seem likely to lose.
Plus not just the teams above us. But if the teams above us do lose they are most likely losing to teams some of which will be directly below us. This isn't the human polls where if everyone wins we all stay the same. Gaining Q1 wins you could jump teams even if other teams are winning as well.
It's really impossible to know the end effect. Just win as many SEC tournament games as you can and hope for the best.

I think Indy is full. Purdue is a lock and the other pod likely the 2-seeded Marquette squad, per most mocks.
