Never thought I would ask this but....

Sorry, I should have said all is great. This team is great. We are winning every game the rest of the way. I don't know what the heck I was thinking. Please please please forgive me. That too would be great!

Somebody would have probably jumped you for that post too. The problem is why do some fans think that it needs explaining when they play badly. Heck, I know they sucked but I don't make a thread to acknowledge it. We all know just ask anyone on here.

I'm a season ticket holder for football and love it, but this is a stupid thread.

It would be different if you simply said we played really bad & some things have got to change. But you come out like Bruce Jenner & say you're giving up on the team???? Knowing basketball, I read a post like yours & think you're either an emotional case or you just simply don't understand a lot about basketball.

...is it time to switch our focus from this team and this forum and start focusing on the football team and the football forum? I just can't see how this team can improve enough to make any sort of run. I'm looking at 10 losses, a butt whopping by Kansas, out early in the SEC and out in the first weekend of the big show.

Quitter, fair-weather fan extraordinaire

Switch to the football team? No, I just can't see how that team can improve enough to make any sort of run.

The football forum is that way.

If fair weathered fan is a person who started watching the cats in the early 70's then I guess that is me. As for giving up, I think I am being realistic. Let's see how close I am when it is all said and done. As I said, I am very excited about next season.
IF you are an actual fan, you are the very definition of a fair weather fan. You're talking about giving up on a team after a loss.

Maybe I'm confused but there are no rules against anyone discussing UK football over on the football forum regardless of what the calendar says...I check the FB board every day to see what's going on. Regarding this year's BB team, hang in there and see where these guys end up.

Next year's football team is going to make this team look like Magic's Lakers

I hate when non-sports people talk sports. If you ever played anything you know you can get better.

Knight's team couldn't win a road game to save their lives and went to the FF. Randle's team struggled all year, was an 8 seed, and went to the title game.

Speaking of the Randle team. UConn was a 7 seed, and got beat by 33 at Louisville on March 8th and won it all.

We have a bunch of freshman that will get better. We're figuring things out, and have had some poor performances, but that isn't abnormal when you turn over the bulk of the roster. We've still beaten Duke and Louisville (2 very solid teams) so it's not all doom and gloom.
