I am going to assume the OP is trolling. We are talking bout UK football, not Alabama...not a lot to be excited about after the disasterous choke job at Vandy and against UL for me. I'll be ready for signing day, but I am pretty confident I can pay attention to UK basketball, college b-ball as a whole, and even some NBA/NHL in addition to that. Intelligent sports' fans have no issue keeping up with multiple sports year round.
Especially a true fan. Keep on instigating just remember what our seasons end up as vs what you haters want.
It's the same thing every year, they are teenagers, kids playing a game but all these fans want to dog them out like they have a right to.
Putting on the blue still carries a lot of weight. You have a target on your back every game from every opponent. The elite players all know that and coming here wether they are one and done or not still means more to them then what fans will give them credit for. How often do they say It's Kentucky when asked why.
They have to deal with players that want to beat them, coaches that love to get a win vs UK. It never ends, every game, every season, now, before Cal and will be after Cal. Probably more so after Cal. Every Kentucky player since I have been following them has had to deal with that. Give them credit for putting the uniform on for us and accepting that challenge.
Yet our fan base looks for every little thing to rip them apart. These kids work their butts off as students, players, having good characters, becoming adults (many before their not done being a teenager).
If you can't appreciate what they provide for us as a fan base you will never enjoy being a fan.
Yes, been an avid fan since 1960, and have loved every minute of it without any self inflicted misery from a game played by kids for my entertainment and enjoyment and I thank them for it. That's all it is.
We're the all time winningest program in the history of collage basketball. Cal has not only added to that legacy but has dominated over his period of time in Coach Rupps seat. No appreciation.
I feel sorry for a bunch of you. Really do.
