Unfortunately, our online fans don't root for the Wildcats. They just witness the wins, or bitch when they lose.

To the fans credit, this is the worst effort on offense UK has shown since the NIT year. I'm not throwing in the towel but we do look awful right now.
Probably venting for the most part. I think the frustrating thing is this team cannot shoot overall, and from 3 outside of Ullis and Murray we have zero shooters - those two are not exactly the splash brothers either. Just a year where our frosh are not as good as their rankings and our returning players are not extremely talented.
we as fans are pretty spoiled by the success JC has enjoyed. This particular team will likely make his hair a bit grayer and put a few more lines on the face.
Truly a team with a long way to go.

This team has talent, but the effort is not there. At UCLA and today we saw that. That erks me more than anything
No Willis no victory...poythress and Skal give us nothing...Lee played bad as well
What some call throwing in the towel, others call recognizing the many, MANY flaws in this team. This team can't shoot. They have ONE guy who can actually score. They don't start games with energy and effort. They don't play defense until they absolutely have to. They have the biggest bust of a freshman to enter college basketball in the last 10 years. Their team "leader" commits an intentional foul in a 3-point game. Their other team "leader" misses the front end of a one-and-one in a 3-point game, then gets stripped after a rebound and gives up a layup in a two possession game.
But I'll be watching again Saturday and every game afterward. I haven't thrown in the towel; but I do recognize it's going to be a LONG, frustrating, and many times painful season.

For me, I think if the team showed any fight or even seemed to care I would be fine with it. The problem is they don't. I honestly don't think this team is even capable of putting 2 good halves together at this point.
We've got Ulis for sure and Murray, sometimes. But everybody else just doesn't do anything right. If this is Tyler's team, he deserves better.

These are days when recreational marijuana MUST be made legal...I'd rather stare at a brownie cupcake for 3 hours than watch Skal any longer.
Is someone less of a fan because they invest themselves and get really frustrated when there are multiple negatives? We all process things differently - some by holding onto hope, and some by verbalizing frustration.
Take off your blue tinted glasses, anybody that keeps up with recruiting, should know this was going to happen.
Don't give up on this team, Murray is good enough to carry this team. They just have to learn that you have to play 2 halves of basketball. This team has to learn how to play defense. Remember the Brandon Knight team.

Showing your disgust and sickness when UK loses is not the issue but don't hate on this team. They are not trying to lose. NONE of these kids are losers. NONE of them. State their short-comings and state Coach Cal's short-comings but don't bash this team or this coach. They do not deserve bashing. This team does not serve bashing. Choose your words wisely as all anyone on this site can judge are your words. My heart hurts right now but the team doesn't need to be bashed. They need to learn, adjust, toughen-up, and team-up.

This is team is talented and will improve. Don't jump overboard just because we have two losses to erratic but talented teams that got their act together and gave us their A game.
Skal is serviceable but not a force by any stretch. Lee and Poythress are solid contributors, but not feature players and not overly talented on the offensive end. Ulis is a 5'8" PG that is really good but somewhat physically limited to "take over" on the offensive end and is a little big of a liability when big guards take him inside. Briscoe is the one player playing better than expected, but he is somewhat one dimensional (driver not a shooter). Murray special offensive talent.
I think Cal is going to have to steer the offense toward featuring Murray. Think Davidson when they had Curry. thst would get Murray more shots and open the defense for others. I think we could still be really good come March.

I was a listener when Cawood started calling Kentucky's games. When the Cats played poorly, he never failed to call them out on it, and there never was a better Kentucky fan than Cawood. They played a stinkero today and everybody knows it. It is not disloyal to mention it.
