No. But he should. Sadly they’ll make yet another bad decision by “keeping it in the family” with their next hire. That’s why I get so miffed when I hear people say UK should do that. No. No. And hell no.Has Coach been fired yet?
Tbf that wasn’t an upset in Nebraska.First Appy State, now Georgia Southern. It's September Madness!!!
Yep. Best coach available. Regardless.No. But he should. Sadly they’ll make yet another bad decision by “keeping it in the family” with their next hire. That’s why I get so miffed when I hear people say UK should do that. No. No. And hell no.
Inagine firing 2 coaches who won 10 games every year because you thought that wasn't good enough and end up with this.
Don’t forget Marshall too.First Appy State, now Georgia Southern. It's September Madness!!!
Yeah. They are locked into no talent base. With usc and ucla in big 10..west coast kids just don’t need themWhat the heck do they expect? They're freaking Nebraska. They are too far removed from the good recruits to be a national power anymore. The good recruits down south in Texas are choosing Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, LSU, etc. Recruits in the southeast are going to SEC programs or Clemson, FSU and Miami. And recruits in the Rust Belt go to Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State and now, Kentucky. That leaves Nebraska shit out of luck. They should be elated with a 10 win season. That is probably a mark they'll never witness again.
If they fire him after October 1 they save 7.5 million on his buyout.Has Coach been fired yet?
Guess we know when he will be fired than. Lol.If they fire him after October 1 they save 7.5 million on his buyout.
Couple cousins live in Nebraska. I'd say they are not happy. I dare not call them tonight. Or even next week.I'm glad I'm driving through Nebraska right now. That state has to be on fire right now.

I was going to call into KSR and ask them if they’re concerned if Nebraska comes with the bag after week 0, but I had a bunch of busy work days and couldn’t call in. I envisioned it being a problem the second they lost to Northwestern and that I heard Frost has a buyout provision to basically be fired on the bye week this year.I don't discount Nebraska coming after Stoops
He’d be incredibly foolish to go there.I don't discount Nebraska coming after Stoops
Yes he would. He’d be incredibly foolish to go there.
Appy, GSU, and Marshall all used to be in FCS’ Southern Conference at the same time. Each won multiple FCS NCs. SOCON was a bloodbath back then and called “SEC of the FCS.” Good historic “program DNA” sometimes carries-over to FBS.Don’t forget Marshall too.
with the crazy TV money getting even crazier, we are about to see some insane contract offers to coaches all over the spectrum. With the new B1g t3n billion dollar TV deals, why wouldn't Nebraska offer Stoops a 10 yr $120M guaranteed contract?? Tucker got State to guarantee him 10 yr $95M and he ain't done jack squat.
Leaving Kentucky football for Nebraska football would be like the stupidest gotdamn thing you could ever do in your life.with the crazy TV money getting even crazier, we are about to see some insane contract offers to coaches all over the spectrum.
