Inagine firing 2 coaches who won 10 games every year because you thought that wasn't good enough and end up with this.
What the heck do they expect? They're freaking Nebraska. They are too far removed from the good recruits to be a national power anymore. The good recruits down south in Texas are choosing Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, LSU, etc. Recruits in the southeast are going to SEC programs or Clemson, FSU and Miami. And recruits in the Rust Belt go to Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State and now, Kentucky. That leaves Nebraska shit out of luck. They should be elated with a 10 win season. That is probably a mark they'll never witness again.

I was going to call into KSR and ask them if they’re concerned if Nebraska comes with the bag after week 0, but I had a bunch of busy work days and couldn’t call in. I envisioned it being a problem the second they lost to Northwestern and that I heard Frost has a buyout provision to basically be fired on the bye week this year.
If I were Nebraska I’d offer 10 mill to Stoops.

Appy, GSU, and Marshall all used to be in FCS’ Southern Conference at the same time. Each won multiple FCS NCs. SOCON was a bloodbath back then and called “SEC of the FCS.” Good historic “program DNA” sometimes carries-over to FBS.
