ND Golson to Transfer

Why tie up a scholly,he lost his starting spot at ND.He's no better than what we have already.

When you extrapolate what kind of shape our WR's and oline was this last yr, Towles' stats weren't all that much different from Golson's. And Golson was a senior. This would likely be like Coker was for Bama. Coker transferred to Bama.....everyone thought that he'd be the starter....and in the end Sims got the nod and did well.

Someone mentioned LSU on the Finebaum show...it could work. I mean with #7 in the backfield you do not have to do much as a QB.

It is so great that college football is becoming just like the NFL, with playoffs, and off season personnel moves. Soon, they will be openly playing for pay. Just what the sport needs.

Man...QBs are packing up and rolling out hot...

Driskel, Golson, more than likely 1 if not 2 OSU signal callers...they're all too good to sit...they know it, Urban knows it...

Doesn't Spurrier need a QB?...he hasn't had an exceptional one for a bit...Golson is from South Carolina...

If Stoops and Company are not 100% confident UKs QB situation...it wouldn't bother me a bit to if they at least reached out to gauge the interest of an experienced QB who can play right away and doesn't have a but a year or two of eligibility left...

It could be argued that Spurrier has only really had one exceptional QB since he's been coaching and that was Danny Wuerffel. The rest have been average at best, they have just had a ton of talent around him. IMO he ruins more QB's than he has ever helped. I don't know why any top ranked QB would ever want to go play for him.

South Carolina native will probably look at USC. He had 8 fumbles this year, but alot of that was due to a porous O Line. I think Towles had a decent year, but his numbers (2,718 yards, 57%, 14 TD, 9 Int) pale in comparison to Golson's ( 3,445, 60%, 29 TD, 14 Ints). I wish the kid good luck, just hope he doesn't end up with Spurrier at USC.

Read that Braxton Miller was talking to LSU as well.
Will be interesting to see where he ends up. Duke, LSU and FSU have been mentioned.
