Was about to post something similar. The NCAA is a toothless organization.Lol. The NCAA is powerless and grasping at anything to try to regain some power in college athletics. They are fearful they are going to be shut out of basketball like they have been shut out of football by the Big Boy Conferences.
It's almost like they are begging for relevance. "Please, please, like me again. I'll let you do what you want to now, if you will let me be your boss........
I hope they all have to go find a real job.
True. They did as they pleasedKind of odd this wasn’t already the case. Honestly, they just made up arbitrary rules decades ago and went with it.
It wouldn't matter if you did.Got no issue with this.
They are going to allow men’s and women’s basketball to have an unlimited number of official visitsWhat does it say?
Thanks again for posting these things for me. I don't mean to be a pain, but I hate that work blocks any twitter feed and my Cat Curiosity gets the best of me! I appreciate it!They are going to allow men’s and women’s basketball to have an unlimited number of official visits
Molly Phillips won 2 national championships in the same year with 2 different teams (Texas and USC)Watch for it: NCAA to allow unlimited transfers. After that they'll allow players to transfer midseason.
the NCAA is worse than the UN, and that's saying volumes. Was about to post something similar. The NCAA is a toothless organization.
I’m just waiting for players to switch sides at halftimeWatch for it: NCAA to allow unlimited transfers. After that they'll allow players to transfer midseason.
Now, if only coaches were allowed to do that last year (and years before that).I’m just waiting for players to switch sides at halftime
Yep, I agree with you. The "official visit" and "unofficial visit" rules never made any sense to me. I guess the concern was that some schools with larger budgets would be able to wine and dine more recruits and have an advantage. (I'm really not sure what the reason for limiting visits was, TBH) But with NIL now, a dinner and hotel isn't much of an edge.Kind of odd this wasn’t already the case. Honestly, they just made up arbitrary rules decades ago and went with it.
Following NCAA rules for the past 30 years has set UK back in major sports behind every school in the SEC not named Vanderbilt. How nice of them to announce after Kentucky had to turn down some guys because they didn’t want to waste visits
Next thing you know, we'll be playing 4 quarters instead of two halves in Men's CBB!College sports coming to an end
And also arbitrarily enforced those rules based on the offending school.Kind of odd this wasn’t already the case. Honestly, they just made up arbitrary rules decades ago and went with it.
In what way?Following NCAA rules for the past 30 years has set UK back in major sports behind every school in the SEC not named Vanderbilt.
