NCAA Bracket Thread

Wow we weren't even the last 3.. we were 11th.

Goes to show you the SC didn't really give a shit about Auburn.. which is odd because they sure seemed to ding Kansas and Duke for theirs.

Kentucky is questionable in what we call easy paths. Remember the Kevin Knox team with the Red Sea parting in their bracket, and all they had to do was beat K State? The last thing I'm gonna do is call this bracket easy or assume Kentucky will even see a second round matchup. Now I'm not saying that Kentucky will lose, but I'm not gonna St. Peter's myself again. Just gotta pray something will change this year.

That’s how I feel overall. I like the path. But nothing is given with Cal after 2018.

Seems like this is always too good to be true, Kentucky gets a fairly good path and then they somehow choke it away. I’m hoping it’s different this time around. I hope Calipari knows this is his most important tournament of his entire career

I think our schedule and big wins really pushed us in the end. It's easy to forget for some, but we beat a top5 team in the nation in Tenn at THEIR place just over a week ago. We beat Auburn, We beat 1-seed UNC, we beat Alabama. We played a lot of other high seeds. We have looked pretty great in this final stretch.

Unfortunately, the teams around us just didn't do the same. Guys like Duke played no one and beat no one, Kansas was trending down. Auburn didn't have the NonConf schedule we had and also had an easier SEC slate.

As much as I love my Cats, I have been hurt enough by dreaming of what this team could do. I am just taking one game at a time. With our coach, any thing can happen and often it isn't good. Without a doubt we are the most talented team in college basketball, but without a good coach, does it matter?

It is about personnel matchups. We don't match up with teams that have a Robert Traylor sized post player like NC State. Our draw isn't necessarily an easy path for a finesse offensive oriented squad.

I suspect that the whistle will be tighter in the NCAA than we saw in the SEC, which actually helps us a bit. First things first, figure out Oakland's zone and get that win. Then we worry about the rest.
