Spurs making push for Iggy.
unfortunately, we aren't hearing anything with Pelicans, which is disappointing.
Could they grab rondo? I know their back court/small forward positions are severely lacking.
Wizards offered 170 mil to Wall for four years. They will be in luxary tax if they resign Porter and someone else. They need to clear major space to grav another high ens player which Wall is considering as he is trying to get Paul George.
grabbed Rondo, and that means what exactly?
yeah, i hope they can make something happen but...it looks like boston will get noticeably better and Cleveland will at least stay at the same level.
So...Wizard will be in the bad mediocre situation...sigh.
Sign rondo... since he was released from the Bulls?
This burns my skin, Jrue Holiday has been awful, the Pelicans may be the worst ran franchise in the NBA now.Stupid Pelicans were hellbent on resigning Jrue Holiday. Maybe that's because they knew they couldn't sign a FA. Just sad watching AD and Boogie waste away. And Jrue fn Holiday make 125mil. He is really pitiful.
Id like to see Randolph go to SAC and toughen those young Cats up.
Cavs are also interested in Randolph. I also love Teague going to Minnesota. They've got a legit, albeit young, exciting squad coming together there. The West just keeps getting tougher though.

The league got that new TV deal.Never thought I'd see a day when a guy like Teague would make $19 million/year.
The league has lost its effing mind.
won't do them any good, to be honest.

And their coach is sooooo badThis burns my skin, Jrue Holiday has been awful, the Pelicans may be the worst ran franchise in the NBA now.
The Pelicans were in a box. If they let Jrue walk, they would only have $13 million to spend under the cap.
So it wasn't so much Jrue being worth $25 million, as him being better than what they thought they could get for $13 million.
But they are a mess though.
True, and perhaps they should have gone complete rebuild mode.
Davis to Boston for players/picks. Let Holiday walk. Explore any type of market for Boogie.
Teams starting their rebuild right now are making the logical move. No one is touching GS or the traveling cult of LeBron for the next 3 to 4 years. The league is too top heavy.

Ha! You're probably right. If an entire planet full of cash, gold, and pearls suddenly fell onto Minnesota's home floor, there's still no justification for paying Jeff Teague $19 million/year.
While I'd be fine with the above, that's coming from our Kentucky eyes. You don't nuke a team with a top5 player and another top25 player. They are one player away from a decent seed in the West. You put a true PG on that team for the PnR and they're in it.
It's also worth noting that while Holiday is far from an elite PG, he did have a pretty big issue in his personal life with his wife's brain tumor. After missing the first 15 games, it wasn't long after that Cousins was brought into the fold. All of last year was kind of a wash. 16 and 7 isn't terrible.
He would have been better than that stupid Holiday deal they just committed to.
Get Rondo on the cheap, sign a competent shooting guard, and let Rondo run the team for a few years. Now they're committed to a bad marriage with Holiday for 5 years and sank their cap flexibility for a half-decade due to signing a third-rate point guard.
