Still hard to believe a 73 win GS team was able to add a player like Durant.

Obviously he wanted a title which wasn't ever happening in OKC, but it was advantageous for him to play the style of ball GS plays and with multiple players who can spread the floor. He's been the best player on the floor tonight hands down. A potential title and Finals MVP would be considered a pretty good career decision imo.

It's hard to get excited with all the thuggery, walking, grabbing. How is it exciting watching a bunch of 7 footers +/- dunking the ball? Anyone 6'5" or better with any athletic ability at all should be able to do that. No shooting, no defense. I'd rather watch the Reds...and they are terrible.

When I refer to thuggery, I refer to the excessive beating and banging. Moving picks and actually putting an arm around the guy being picked; playing defense with their hands; body contact during shots.

I at least give him credit for going back AND winning one in Cleveland.

And Durant ran straight to the team he had just choked against in the WCF. He blew that play-off series, and that's what people are highlighting with his decision.

That, and the fact that the league would actually be much more interesting had he either stayed in OKC, or gone to Boston or Washington.

That is exactly the type of shots good teams take. Dunk/layups and 3's are the most efficient ways to score. You should pass up the midrange every time for a 3 or a dunk unless the midrange is wide open and you can't get to the rim.

Yep. Had to go through a boring regular season and two months worth of pointless playoffs to get the result we knew we were getting during last year's finals. It will be the exact same next year too short of a major injury.

There's too many mediocre and terrible teams and parity is even worse than it was before. Every year there's maybe three teams who can do something. Maybe.

Adding Durant made the Warriors completely unbeatable in a seven game series. A team would have to be elite defensively to slow them down enough over seven games to win. The Cavs are one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA. Warriors will win in 5.

It sure does look that way but I am pretty sure if we could go back and look at all the posts everywhere on here or other sites after the Cavs got smashed by 33 in game 2 last year to go down 2-0 everyone thought the series was over back then as well.

That said this year I never gave the Cavs a chance I said they would lose 4-0 or 4-1 before the playoffs began. Last year I didn't feel that way but this year GS added Durant so I never gave them a chance to begin with.

The shots pros hit are ridiculous and its routine. Watch GS or Cleveland play a college team even the all american team and watch the destruction with either college or pro rules. Hell college rules would benefit them because their all americans would foul out.
