Giles is good enough to play over everyone on the roster at the 4 or the 5.

They probably didn't expect WCS, Poythress, Johnson or Lee to return when they committed. Then after they signed, what were they going to do? Sit a year?

You'd think either Diallo or Zimmerman would have seen that too but nope. Anything is possible but Giles and Bam are different from Murray. The experts feel that Giles has had Duke as his leader for eons now, and Bam has heavy adidas pressure to attend NC State in addition to his buddy going there. There's always a chance but for those two guys, it's pretty slim.

Alexander probably didnt expect Self to bench him.

I'd bet Cliff and Selby didnt expect they would not develop under Self and not get drafted in the 1st round...

No, we have been a far second forever.

The "guy" who said that is a UNC fan with rapper and pimping designs on his twitter.

Could we possibly get Giles? Anything is possible, but you saying you do not want #3-6 is a stretch, we need bodies and good ones.

And Murray wasn't even supposed to be in this class, huge differences there.

UK is not for everyone.

Yes. Playing time matters to recruits, especially OAD's. And, I am sure the Duke Coaching staff has shown him a UK Roster and let him do the math or did the math with him. Position-less basketball would mean that he is sharing time with five other BIGs.

Positionless basketball is a recruiting pitch used by Calipari to reel in Murray, Fox, and Monk. Gabriel and SKJ are combo forwards who weigh 20-30 pounds less than Giles. The only player on Kentucky's roster who can have any impact on Giles' PT is Humphries. The only other thing that could effect Giles' PT would be foul trouble. And since Giles is a better player than Humphries, the point is probably moot. Anybody can believe what they want, but I think Giles will pick the coach he wants to play for. Giles has a couple years of international competition under his belt, and he is the most skilled big in his class. I have read plenty of Giles interviews, and I don't think this guy is scared of competition. If he wants to play for Krzyzewski, he will sign with Duke. If he wants to play for Calipari and Payne, he will sign with Kentucky.

And I know this is gonna piss some people off and I don't get why, but anyway man. We have Gabriel lined up and that's awesome. But we need another superstar big to pair with him. A Cousins, Davis, Noel, KAT type. I know SKJ is good, but I doubt he'll be top 10. We need Giles, Bam, or Ayton. With what we have Bolden isn't good enough. Now if Giles was already committed her to go along with Gabriel, and we didn't have SKJ then Bolden would be fine to come off the bench. But my hopes are Humphries and SKJ are coming in off the bench next year because we have a couple lottery picks starting.

UK doesn't need a superstar big. Next year's team will be guard dominated and one of the best teams in the country. Guard play is by far more important.

LOL UK fans. Seriously your posts are some of the most ill- informed I have ever read. Allen and Bolden will be high 1st round draft picks and we would be lucky to have either and will have one of them. Also Bam and Giles aren't coming here and Ayton will be a Cat but he already said he will not reclassify . We need one more center and it will be Bolden or Allen and Hopefully Allen as he is a major stud.
