Napier and Norvell

I don't see him making it through the season, don't know when but he has to be 4-1 heading into last 7 games. Don't see that happening. Thought they would go 0-7 last 7 games, but FSU looks like a JUCO team.
Florida/Florida State may be a cripple fight this year.

Reactions: Blouman
Eli Drinkwitz - only a matter of time before he gets a big offer

More interesting question is which BIG DAWG swoops in, hires Napier, in hopes of getting lagway?

Decided to look at Florida's four previous coaches just to see what they looked like before Florida hired them.

Napier
Louisiana
2021: 12-1
2020: 10 - 1
2019: 11-3
2018: 7-7

Mullens
Miss State (69-49 overall)
Best season 2014: 10-3
Season beforehand: 8-4, 6-7, 9-4

McElwain (22-16)
Colorado State
2014- 10-2
2013: 8-6
2012: 4-8

Muschamp
Assistant under Saban at LSU and with the Dolphins, coached at Auburn and Texas

Florida has tried multiple things. Went with Muschamp thinking he was basically Kirby Smart before Smart. Then went with the mid major success like Urban was at Utah and Bowling Green.

None of it worked.

In this era of NIL, and even in the years prior, I think it has become quite difficult to maintain a winning TEAM football culture if you aren't careful about who you let in the locker room, no matter how many stars the talent.

I think Florida’s biggest problem is that they’re not giving guys enough time to truly rebuild and they knee jerk react to bad seasons.

They want to be competing for SEC titles in 2-3 years. It’s a 5-6 year process.

Mcelwain and Mullen both started off solid then hit a bad season and got bounced.

Napier has started off tough and most likely won’t get anymore time.

Nobody is getting more than about 4 years.
