Here’s my take on this season
#1 thank god we are done with the SEC this season lol
I think we will win a couple games in the NCAA with the right matchups..
That being said this year was a learning experience for Coach Pope.
He did not know what to expect in the SEC people can tell you but you don’t know til you see it first hand..
To finish 10-8 and 22-11 this season with arguably our 3 best players maybe only playing 1/3 of the games to me is absolutely remarkable..
Everyone wants to talk about our defense we simply don’t have any athletes besides Oweh..Without Athletes you simply cannot guard the type of athletic players that are in this league.
You can bet your house this portal and next year Pope will go after elite shooters and athletes and playmakers..
Which in turn will make our defense so much better..
I am totally excited about the direction this program is heading no worries at all..
All these negative sallies out there ask yourself would you rather have Pope guiding our team next year or The previous regime who could care less if we win the game just make sure the 5 stars get to play to look good for the next career..
