that's him in the picture

a uk fan made the tweet "kentucky has the #2 class", with the pic attached

Swanigan, if @Biggs_Swanigan is him, then retweeted it

Well, it can mean one of two things lol.

1. He commits to Cal, and they become #2, while we become 3.

2. He commits to UK, and we become #1

Not only do we have people tweeting at him, we have people on his SnapChat now.

Some people are just weird.

I feel like this is a very difficult decision in any young man's life, and maybe he made a choice too soon. It happens. I'm not following this recruitment as closely, because I don't want to build myself up for any kind of letdown, but I hope the best for him wherever he goes. If he wants to come to UK, I'd definitely welcome him!

All true Kentucky fans should fill like this, if they are true Fans

Great post Sir!

If he puts it on twitter you can take it to the bank.;)

@Biggs_Swanigan: Next year I will be going Michigan State university. Once a spartan. Always a Spartan

Im trying to understand the draw that is Purdue, other than someone close to him playing there.
Painter is going to be looking for work very soon if he doesn't get it turned around.

Such an odd class to this that we are vying for a guy against Purdue and Cal if that is even the case.
It has alot of us scratching our head.

If an elite basketball school offers you, and you don't have them at the top of your list, then basketball probably isn't your primary interest. It might also mean your work ethic will be exposed if you come to Lexington. We heard things from WCS thinking he may be in over his head when he committed, but he'll be a multimillionaire very soon.
He should be what these guys should be looking at when they're choosing a school.

If the kid wants attention he should run not walk and sign a LOI with UK. I can not think of anywhere that a kid will get any more attention than from the "Blue Mist". Heck some even complain that they get too much attention.

I wish him the best wherever he lands. Not every player will flourish at UK. Most do, however. I am constantly amazed at players who get drafted in the first few rounds and they played bench minutes for Kentucky. Calipari has found a way to get these guys prepared for the NBA and then, to market them for drafting like no one else in the current college bb arena. If that was my goal and I had no intention of getting a college degree, I would come to UK. But, these are still 17-18 year old young men with other factors to consider: parents traveling to games, living away from home, if they are comfortable with the school, the coaching staff, the expectations and philosophy of the team, if they are willing to compete and work for their playing time, etc...So many extraneous issues that go into choosing a program. And then, if you have relatives working or playing for a specific school, that is brought into consideration as well.

UK fans need to give these guys a break and realize they are young kids who are not all "in love" with Kentucky. They have other dream schools and plans and it is okay. It is really the rare fit that most kids are solidly UK oriented from signing day until they leave or graduate. Most are looking at other elements and trying to see what lines up with their priorities.

We should celebrate the ones who are here and coming! They want to be part of the Wildcat family and I am so happy they are representing the team next year. Charles Matthews signed as a junior. That is remarkable, considering all the schools that he could have been playing for. Tal Wynyard signed as a junior, as well. He was relatively unknown, but gave up a year of recruiting to become a Wildcat. Staying positive and excited about who is coming and who is coming back is enough for me. We are blessed.

Hear hear, well said.

Can't go by what they say or do anymore. Brown went a whole year making it sound like UK was by far the top program from what he had seen. Just hope from now on we get most of our recruiting done early and just save one or two schollies for the ones that want to play the field.

He did say we were a top program, he just never said he was coming here.

Agreed. He should be giving a lot of thought to where he will spend the next three years of his career.

I meant that as a joke, since he said "once a spartan, always a spartan" :)

I know but the way this recruiting season has been, it really (and I mean that) wouldn't surprise me if he ended up at MSU. Hell, it wouldn't surprise me if he ended up at someplace that nobody is currently listing (Cal, Purdue, UK, MSU).

True, this is the strangest year ever in terms of recruiting.
